Guy and Holly Helmer are very excited to welcome Tom Bougetz, owner and winemaker of Bougetz Cellars, back to Ames to share the newest releases from his boutique Napa Valley winery.

This is more than a wine tasting: it’s an evening with Napa Valley winemaker Tom Bougetz, an Iowa State alumnus who built a successful boutique winery in Napa Valley. Tom crafts small-lot wines from carefully selected vineyard sites across Napa Valley, including Rutherford, Mount Veeder, Spring Mountain District, Coombsville, and Catie’s Corner Vineyard. Each wine tells the story of its vineyard and AVA, revealing how Napa Valley’s diverse growing regions shape the aromas, flavors, and character in every glass.

There will be plenty to sample, including a few new wines and some special bottlings. Guy had the opportunity to visit Tom in Napa last March and sample several of these wines firsthand. He’s excited for Tom’s visit to Ames to share this unique Napa Valley experience with friends here in Iowa.
